Ammaia
Cité romaine fondée à la fin du 1er siècle avant J.C. elle s'est très vite développée grâce aux minerais comme le quartz et l'or. La zone urbanisée aurait approché les 20 hectares. Entre le V et le IX elle est tombée en déclin jusqu'à être complètement abandonnée. Avec la construction d'autres fortifications dans les environs, plusieurs matériaux ont été prélevés sur ce site.
En 1949 Ammaia a été édifié à Monument National.
Depuis 1994 , des fouilles sont effectuées (près de 3000m2 ont déjà été découvert) et le site abrite un musée.
