Marvão
Localité située sur un promontoire rocheux, elle sert de refuge et point stratégique militaire depuis l'époque romaine. Conquise par les Maures, puis par le roi Alphonse Ier puis à nouveaux par les musulmans, elle ne redeviendra portugaise qu'en 1299 avec le roi Denis Ier.
